All of the steering groups were invited to meet together to discuss (agenda) their progress, identify areas where interaction was required, and to adjust the plan for future actions based on the input from all the groups. At this meeting each group summarized their work and their points of concern (meeting minutes)

The PIT process evolved into four steering groups, which were each to discuss a different facet of the County's planning and building process and to develop specific recommendations for improvement.

PIT members made a presentation to the County Board of Supervisors
At this meeting, they also presented several recommendations for improvement. These recommendations were selected for discussion because they were expected to yield high benefit to the public and the County without being exhorbitantly difficult to implement.
