Fish and Game Commission

The committee shall advise the board of Supervisors on fish and game matters and specifically shall: Make recommendations on all applications or proposals of individuals or organizations for expenditures of fish and game fine revenues. Apprise the board on the current condition of fish and game within the County. Recommend projects for the conservation and propagation of fish and game resources within the County. Inspect and report on progress of fish and game projects undertaken by the County. File an annual report with the Board of Supervisors summarizing the activities of the Committee for each fiscal year and setting forth the projects and amounts of monites expended on the same for each fiscal year. Review the monthy Controller's report on fine revenues collected by Santa Barbara County courts for infractions of the State Fish and Game Code, and disbursement thereof.
