    Closing the Case

The enforcement case is closed if enforcement staff determines that a violation does not exist on the property. If a violation is determined to exist, the case will be closed once the violation is confirmed to be fully abated (either by permitting or by removal). The property owner is then sent a billing statement for staff time spent addressing the violation. Staff processing fees are separate from the fines outlined in any Notice of Determination of Fines previously issued. Failure to pay the processing fees could result in adverse action against the property (e.g. monetary liens, etc).
